I haven't been doing a lot of sewing lately because it is Christmas time!
December is always a very busy time of year for my family. So sometime you need to put somethings aside. So I have not planned any projects for this month. Instead, I am admiring some of my previous sewing accomplishments.
I love these stockings I made for my family.
Last year, I put some of the more fragile ornaments in the stockings to provide some protection. They came out this year so wrinkly! So they needed a good pressing before they could be "hung by the fire with care."
That same year I had also made this matching tree skirt. Definitely an upgrade from the white sheet I used to use.
This is one my favorite holiday mini quilts. The letters are laser cut with fusible interfacing on them. It was a fun little mini project.
I told my self that this year I was not doing any Black Friday shopping. Well, I woke up Friday morning and changed my mind. I ended up with a new Christmas tree and giant box of batting!
Don't you just love getting boxes in the mail?!?
Have fun quilting and Merry Christmas!
