Again this year, for the quilt guild I am apart of, I am providing instructions for how to make a different quilt block each month. For the month of October, we are making the Utah Star Quilt Block. This one caught my eye because I live in Utah! So why not?
I am super excited to participate in the Garden Party Row Along put on by Seams to be Sew! Thanks so much to Marian for putting this on and letting me participate! This year all the rows are different shapes and sizes and they all have to do with gardens. We have all sorts of gardens. Vegetable gardens, rock gardens, flower gardens, cactus gardens, etc.
One of the first sewing lessons I took started with discussing fabric grain.
When quilting, this is good information to know so I thought I would share some basics with you.
