What is a Row Along? It is when a bunch of different designers get together and create a quilt row or quilt block, then you can pick and choose your blocks and rows to put together and make your own quilt. If you only want a block or two, you can make a table runner or wall hanging.
I am excited to participate in the annual row along. In the past, it was hosted by Marian from Seams to Be Sew. She passed away earlier this year so this row along is in memory of her.
All the rows this year were made with the theme of "Seaside Adventure."
Here is my row!
When I think of Seaside Adventures, I think of the trips I have gone to the ocean. My favorite was this summer when we went up the Oregon Coast and got to see some lighthouses.
I also love the image of the lighthouse light cutting through the dark and guiding ships to safety.
This row is pieced together, except for the optional clouds which are appliqued on using the technique of your choice.
Unfinished size is 13.5 x 24.5 inches.
The instructions for this row are available in my shop. They will be free from September 6th through September 17th, 2021. After that, they will be available for purchase in the same place.
(Please note that you will have to go through the purchase process to download the pattern. The pattern is free and you will not be asked for a payment method. I do not collect or use your information unless you sign up for my newsletter and that would only be your email address.)
Thank you so much to Northcott Fabrics for sponsoring this row long and for sharing their lovely fabrics with all the awesome designers. You can check them out here.
Don't forget to check out the other designers that are participating in this awesome Row Along.

(Note: Sorry about the date change. There was some confusion about when it started and the banner is wrong, but my pattern will still be available till 9/17/21.)
Love the lighthouse. So many memories looking at this fun block.
Your lighthouse row is lovely. I, too, love lighthouses and always thought it would be fun to live in one.
Your lighthouse is really charming!
