Imagine a cozy little wall hanging that not only adds a pop of color to your space but also holds a special place in your heart. This unique quilt idea involves creating a masterpiece out of blocks that your quilt friends have signed. It's a beautiful way to cherish memories and showcase your love for quilting.
These pictures are of a project I recently made for a quilty friend of mine.

To bring this idea to life, gather 4-inch yellow squares, blue floral sashing, border fabric, and most importantly, blocks signed by your quilt friends. These blocks are not just pieces of fabric; they are tokens of friendship and shared passion for quilting.
When your friends sign your blocks, make sure you use the correct pen so it doesn't fade or bleed. Check out this link for more info.
When writing on fabric, add a sheet of fine grit sandpaper beneath it to prevent the fabric from shifting while writing.
Creating the Quilt:
Start by arranging the signed blocks in a pattern that speaks to you. I love that all of these squares were signed on the diagonal. It gives the quilt a little bit of movement when they were arranged. The yellow squares will add a cheerful touch, while the blue floral sashing and border will tie everything together beautifully. As you sew the pieces together, think about the stories behind each signature and how they have enriched your quilting journey.

Once your quilt is complete, hang it proudly on your wall. Every time you look at it, you'll be reminded of the joy of quilting and the cherished friendships that have blossomed through this shared passion. It's not just a wall hanging; it's a piece of your heart on display.
Have fun quilting!
