Here is a fun idea to add to your next quilting project, scrappy binding!

This binding is super easy to create.
Use 10-12 different fabrics. The more diverse, the better.
Cut lots of pieces that are three to six inches long and the width that you like for binding. For example, I like my binding 2 inches wide. So cut lots of pieces of each fabric that are
3 by 2 inches
or 4 by 2 inches
or 5 by 2 inches
or 6 by 2 inches.
Then sew the pieces together and create your binding. Make sure you press the seams open to reduce the bulk.

It adds such a fun splash of color to your quilt. Try it on your next project!
Have fun quilting!
