Pattern Review - The Magic of Christmas by Primitive Gatherings

I just finished putting together a quilt top from the Primitive Gatherings - Magic of Christmas Quilt Pattern and I want to share it with you!

Magic Of Christmas Quilt

This is a block of the month that my local quilt shop put on.

Block from the pattern

There are 25 blocks. All finish at 6 inches square. That leads to some really small pieces. Some of them finish at 1/2 inches square.

But as long you use a bunch of starch. It goes pretty well.

The pattern has a lot of diagrams, but not a lot of explanation. It would be easier if it said how big certain pieces need to be so they can be trimmed down before assembly. Otherwise, it was easy to understand.

Pattern and some small pieces

The end of the pattern gives multiple ways to put all the blocks together. I really liked the flying geese border.

Have fun quilting!
