Bombs Bursting Quilt Pattern Variation

Check out this fun quilt I made this summer! 

This is a variation on the Bombs Bursting Quilt Pattern. I love how easy it is to take something like a quilt pattern and make it your own. 

Here is look at the original pattern.

For this variation, I changed a couple things.

I obviously changed the colors. It went from a two color quilt to a four color quilt. 

I changed the size. It went from a queen to a large throw.

I changed the border just a little bit. It has five colors and the corner squares were changed.

Patterns are so great and once you own it you can change it however you want!  It's like being the master of your own quilting destiny!
