I am super excited to participate in the My Happy Place Row Along put on by Seams to be Sew! Thanks so much to Marian for putting this on and letting me participate!
This year all the rows are different shapes and sizes and they all have to do with nursery rhymes and fairy tales!
Here it is! My big reveal! Hickory Dickory Dock!
When I first heard that the theme for this row along was nursery rhymes, Hickory Dickory Dock was one of the first to come to mind. It was definitely one of my favorites from my childhood. I also thought that it would be fun to design and quilt a clock and mouse!
If you have never heard of it before, here is the first verse of the rhyme by Mother Goose.
This is pretty easy to make. It is broken into pieces and pieced together. The mouse is appliqued on. The clock hands and mouse tail are drawn on but can very easily be embroidered or appliqued. Choose which ever method suits you.
This is how it looks after I turned it into a table runner.
I added a border that is the same color as the blue in the star block. Then I quilted in the ditch along the seams.
The instructions for this row are available in my shop. They will be free for September 12th through September 20th, 2019. After that, they will be available for purchase in the same place.
(Please note that you will have to go through the purchase process. The pattern is free and you will not be asked for a payment method. I do not collect or use your information unless you sign up for my newsletter and that would only be your email address.)
Another great part of this Row Along is the giveaways going on! The giveaway associated with my row is an awesome four-pack of fat quarters from Northcott Fabrics!
I love Northcott and all of their high quality fabrics.
